KONEKTIV NIGHT VOL. 5

Three new musical performances bringing together musicians from the Czech Republic and immigrant and ethnic minority backgrounds. This year will be the fifth edition of an experimental musical evening celebrating musical diversity and collaboration between artists of different cultures.

Award-winning harpist Mariana Jouzová, a collaborator with a number of leading Czech symphony orchestras, will perform in tandem with audiovisual artist and experimental musician Omar El Sadek aka Qow.

The voice of opera singer Alena Boada Rodriguez will weave through dense layers created by drone guitarist Sweeps 04.

A performance by ethereal vocalist and flautist Koruth along with electro-acoustic musician, composer and sound artist Barry Wann will bring together their distinct approaches to imaginative music.

Konektiv supports Iniciativa Hlavák, which provides initial material and psychological assistance to refugees from the Ukraine, Syria and other countries at the Main Railway Station in Prague.
