GAME ZONE LIGHT

Will take place from 12PM to 5PM.

Handa Gote Research & Development collective's own collectors and experts on historical electronic games will share hidden gems of their collections that are usually found in storage rooms. For one day, Alfred ve dvoře will become an arcade game hall filled with 8-bit computers and gaming consoles dating beyond the year 1983. Alfred ve dvoře will once again be transformed into a retro-gaming room as part of the We Are Open festival. A lighter version of the traditional and popular videogaming event will once again feature old eight-bit computers, game consoles and their modern replicas.

Handa Gote Research & Development is dedicated to experiments in the fields of dramaturgy, non-theatrical elements, and concepts of post-dramatic and post-spectacular theater. The collective has long been inspired by science and technology. The group conducts continuous research into theatrical language as well as stage sound and light design, while questioning the core ideas of these aspects of theatre. Between the years 2019 - 2021, the collective is a residential ensemble of Alfred ve dvoře.
