PIO DYNAMO 2

PIO and Alfred ve dvoře theater present three days of concerts plus performances featuring unique instruments, manipulated film and DIY electronics. 

Each evening will feature a different work from PIO: on 20.7 will be a performance of Cornelius Cardew's legendary graphic score Treatise with a special PIO group of five electronic musicians, prepared piano and percussion. On 21.7 PIO will debut another in a series of explorations of the music of American jazz composers, this time the powerful music of the great Charles Mingus, with an all-star lineup! Finally on 22.7 will be the premiere of a new work for orchestra and video. 

Also happening each evening will be idiosyncratic and unclassifiable performances from Veronika Svobodová/Václav Šafka, Maria Komarova, Labodoble (Bagdasarov/Moralesová) and Martin Janíček's birthday band (with Nikl/Ferenc/Žižka/Procházka).
