INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL FOR LOUTEX 2026

Alfred ve dvoře theatre hereby announces an open call for Loutex 2026, festival of puppet theatre focused on adult audiences. This call is dedicated to projects that are not based in the Czech Republic.

The festival will take place from 9th to 14th March 2026 at the Alfred ve dvoře theatre in Prague.

We are looking for small independent puppet performances meant for adult audience, which would fit to our venue with capacity max. 80 seats. We can pay a maximum 1500 EUR for the show. Accommodation and travel costs will be arranged by the theatre. We prefer modern puppet theatre which explores boundaries of the genre and has a strong aesthetic view.
